The 12th Annual Maple Bear Brazil Convention Goes Virtual
The 12th Maple Bear Brazil Annual Convention was very successful! Held every year, the convention brings together directors and owners of Maple Bear schools in Brazil and worldwide, in addition to the executive and management teams from both Maple Bear Global Schools and Grupo SEB.
In 2020 the event was the first in a hybrid format with live presentations broadcasted directly from the World Trade Centre in São Paulo to online audience.
Directors and owners were able to hear from great speakers such as Oscar Motomura, founder of Amana-Key and Maurício Benvenutti, writer, entrepreneur, mentor, speaker and Partner at StartSE.
In addition to great lectures, attendees watched the news and plans for the future from the Board of Maple Bear, including Grupo SEB President Chaim Zaher, Maple Bear Global Schools Chairman & President, Rodney Briggs and Executive Director Thamila Zaher. Attendees also heard from many of the management team, including Maple Bear Brazil CEO Arno Krug, Maple Bear Global Vice President of Academic, Lenna Glade and Maple Bear Global Communications Director, Michelle Tice.
The event was attended by over 440 people and supported by 11 sponsors who were able to exhibit their relevant products and services to all Maple Bear schools.
