Our Expansion Continues with Schools in Australia and Ghana

Posted in Maple Bear Global on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025

The year 2025 has started with momentum and pride as we officially expand into two brand-new countries – Australia and Ghana.

WELCOME MAPLE BEAR NORWEST, SYDNEY – AUSTRALIA

Located in the vibrant city of Sydney, Maple Bear Norwest is our first school in Australia, bringing the best of bilingual Canadian education to young learners in the region. With an emphasis on play-based learning, critical thinking, and academic excellence, this school is set to provide an exceptional early learning experience for infants, toddlers, nursery and junior kindergarten students.

Bilingual education is also being offered in Mandarin.

Both schools underwent initial training for the teachers and staff to ensure they were thoroughly versed in the Maple Bear methodology.

Here, Maple Bear Norwest teachers and staff celebrate the conclusion of their training!

WELCOME MAPLE BEAR GHANA IN ACCRA

Maple Bear Accra marks our official entry into West Africa, offering Ghanaian families access to a globally recognized, future-ready education.

The school is prepared to offer programs from the infant stage all the way to high school, Grade 9. We are pleased we can bring our student-centred, immersive learning approach to even more communities.

With schools now in 40 countries, Maple Bear is dedicated to nurturing confident, curious, and lifelong learners through a proven Canadian curriculum adapted to local cultures and contexts. These new openings reflect our mission to make high-quality, bilingual education accessible to families worldwide.

Welcome to the Maple Bear family, Australia and Ghana!
