EXPANDING HORIZONS: HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE 2ND MAPLE BEAR GLOBAL CONFERENCE

Posted in Maple Bear Global on Friday, October 31st, 2025

The 2nd Annual Maple Bear Global Schools Conference, held in the breathtaking setting of Whistler, British Columbia, was an inspiring success. For two days, leaders, educators, and partners from around the world gathered to connect, collaborate, and shape the future of global education.

The conference opened with a warm welcome at the iconic Fairmont Chateau Whistler, setting the stage for meaningful discussions, shared learning, and the celebration of Maple Bear’s continued growth and impact. Throughout the event, the Maple Bear Global Schools leadership team shared insights on strategic priorities and new opportunities to strengthen our global network, all under this year’s theme: Expanding Horizons.

Among the highlights were two thought-provoking keynote presentations. Dr. Karyn Gordon inspired attendees with The Three Chairs of Leadership, a powerful exploration of emotional intelligence and effective leadership. Nikolas Badminton, a globally recognized futurist, challenged us to imagine what’s next for education and how Maple Bear can continue to lead with innovation and purpose.

We were also proud to announce new strategic partnerships with the University of Toronto and Rosseau Lake College, marking an exciting step forward in Maple Bear’s ongoing commitment to excellence and collaboration in global education.

The conference featured a series of strategic planning sessions, engaging breakout discussions, and meaningful networking opportunities, all designed to foster connection and collective growth within our international community. The event concluded with an evening of celebration — a fitting finale to two days of inspiration, learning, and shared purpose.

As we continue to expand across more than 490 schools in over 35 countries, the 2025 Maple Bear Global Conference reaffirmed our shared belief that education knows no borders. Together, we are expanding horizons — for our students, our educators, and the future of learning worldwide.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of our 2nd Annual Maple Bear Global Conference. We look forward to many more years of growth, innovation, and collaboration.
