CREATE, COLLABORATE, CELEBRATE: HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE 1ST GLOBAL MAPLE BEAR CONFERENCE

Our 1st Annual Global Maple Bear Conference, held in the picturesque locale of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, was a huge success. For the first time, this event brought together our most important stakeholders to create, collaborate and celebrate 20 years of Maple Bear’s success: our Canadian faculty members, global partners, school owners and staff from around the world. 
  
The conference started with a warm welcome event at a local award-winning winery. Attendees had the chance to connect, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and set the stage for the days of learning and collaboration ahead.  
  
Throughout the conference, the Maple Bear Global Schools leadership team shared their vision for the future and the strategic goals that will guide us forward. Their insights were inspiring and motivating, underscoring the importance of our collective efforts in achieving excellence in education. 
  
We were honoured to have exceptional keynote speakers, including renowned education expert Dr. Lyn Sharratt, President and Vice-Chancellor of Sheridan College Dr. Janet Morrison, and biologist and science communicator Dr. Dan Riskin. Each speaker brought a unique perspective, offering valuable insights and sparking meaningful discussions among attendees, enriching the conference with their expertise. 
  
The breakout sessions provided numerous opportunities for collaboration, information sharing, and the exchange of best practices. These sessions were instrumental in fostering a sense of community and driving forward our mission to deliver exceptional education globally. 
  
The conference was a testament to our creating, collaborating, and celebrating theme. We are incredibly proud of the connections, knowledge, and memories made during this event. As we move forward, we are more committed than ever to our mission of providing the best Canadian education to students worldwide.
