Learning Without Limits: What to Expect at the 2026 Maple Bear Global Conference
The 2026 Maple Bear Global Conference is coming to Montreal. More than 150 people from across our network will meet for two days. They will learn, talk, and work together. The theme this year is Learning Without Limits.
The event takes place October 22–23, 2026, at the Montreal Marriott Château Champlain. Teachers, leaders, and members of the Maple Bear community will share ideas. They will also learn from each other and look ahead to the future of education.
Maple Bear has a network of more than 500 schools in 35+ countries. Together, these schools serve over 70,000 students. As a result, the Conference brings a truly global community into one room.
This Year’s Theme: Learning Without Limits
Learning Without Limits reflects Maple Bear’s commitment to lifelong learning. It also speaks to new ideas, teamwork, and the ability to adapt.
In other words, the theme helps our global community explore how we learn from one another. It also invites us to try new ideas and respond to the changing needs of schools.
For example, teachers and leaders from different regions will share what works in their own schools. Then, these insights can shape new ideas across the Maple Bear network.

A Global Community Comes Together
Meeting in person gives the Maple Bear community a chance to share what they know. It also builds strong ties across the network. Many of these bonds will last long after the event.
With 150+ guests from many regions, the room will be full of different points of view. Because of this, guests can expect rich talks and fresh ideas on the challenges schools face today.
Throughout the event, guests can join group talks, hands-on activities, and networking sessions. Each one is built to help colleagues from around the world connect. To see how our schools stay connected all year, read about the Maple Bear Global Connections Program.
Keynote Speakers at the Maple Bear Global Conference
This year’s Maple Bear Global Conference features two confirmed keynote speakers. Both will speak about change, new ideas, and the forces that shape our world.
First, change strategist Jay Kiew will present “NAVIGATE: How to Flourish in the Complexities of an Uncertain World.” His talk shows how leaders and teams can build the skills to adapt with confidence. He will also look at the impact of Agentic AI.
Next, Dr. Cindy Gordon, CEO and Founder of SalesChoice, will present “The AI Precipice: Balancing Innovation and Safety in Education.” Her talk looks at the growing role of AI in schools. In addition, she will cover what AI means for teachers, both the upsides and the risks.
Maple Bear Global Conference Program and Sponsors
Beyond the keynotes, Maple Bear’s leadership team will share talks and remarks. The program also includes academic talks, panels, and group sessions.
Event sponsors include Scholastic, NWEA (a division of HMH), ClassLink, ILSC, and FranConnect.

Looking Ahead Toward Maple Bear’s Future
In Montreal, the 2026 Maple Bear Global Conference will bring together global partners, people from Maple Bear schools, Canadian faculty, and MBGS staff. Together, they will spend two days learning, connecting, and planning what comes next.
Ultimately, the event is a chance to grow our ties and share new views. It is also a time to celebrate what we can do when we keep learning from one another. To learn more about our approach, see Why Maple Bear.
